‘Apart’ not ‘apparent’.

Chandler had the highest paying job, so much so that his later discovered savings account for enough for Monica’s “Wedding Scenario A”.

Ocean’s 13 is good, apparent from the crappy way it treats Ellen Barkin’s character. At least it wasn’t as smug as I found Ocean’s 12.

I need to revisit my dvd copy, because I never made it that far during either of my two rewatches since buying it.

Kirsten Dunst was such an understated Mary Jane, nothing like the party girl character from the comic. I think it’s been said by others before, but she would have made a better Gwen than MJ (and could have used her natural hair colour).

I have nothing but love for BTTF, though I’ll happily concede I’m in a minority of one who thinks it’s the best trilogy series.

There’s too much going on. The main culprit being the inclusion of Venom and the black costume. There’s enough story to just focus on Sandman and Harry’s anger over his father’s death, without shoehorning in Eddie Brock and the symbiote (thanks to pressure from Ari Avad). Even the addition of Gwen and George Stacey

I’m kinda glad that Marvel UK reprints of Secret Wars and then stuff from AS-M & PPS-M were done sequentially. We basically got the ‘Alien Black Costume’ storyline in a logical manner, which also meant we could saviour the change more (though this weekly/fortnightly during ‘85).

I believe 2 and 3 are being filmed back-to-back. I think sequel is out next year, so thinking long term the third is still quite a few years away. Basically it was a roundabout way of me saying that we could still be talking about ZS Justice League for the best part of the next decade.

But that used to be part of the fun of the character — the romantic triangle of sorts between Clark, Lois and Superman.

This guy? He loves superheroes, it’s written all over his face.

Bring it on!

That’s my main bugbear with Man of Steel, it seems like a film in which the directors doesn’t really like Superman. That’s even more noticeable in BvS when Batman is making digs about saving cats from trees.

The mind boggles at the thought that a four-hour Synder Cut isn’t already the director’s cut. There aren’t enough hours in the day for how long that might be.

I need to stop saying interesting, but I can’t help myself. Again interesting.

Also interesting. Given that I preferred IW a bit more than Endgame, I’m tempted to ask what you felt about that one.

That’s interesting. Granted I’m more Marvel centric, but I found theatrical release of Justice League to be very nondescript. The slightly better Ultimate Edition of Batman vs Superman was more fun and that still had it’s own issues.

I think it’s 50/50 how Warner Bros plays this. A lot of the early (very positive) reviews are leaning heavily on this setting up sequels, alongside the trending #RestoreTheSnyderverse movement.

That’s almost certainly the reasoning behind her being put forward for support. IMO she was still better than Emma Stone was in La La Land, though I concede that wasn’t the prevailing mood of that awards season.

She should have been nominated (and subsequently win) for lead in Fences, especially as she appears on screen fot the longest amount of time in that film.
