Counter view - Sheldon overshadows TBBT. It's beyond annoying that he never properly appreciates what a dick he is to his 'friends' (air quoted because I'm not sure he actually likes them).

Ross's big problem was that the first person he slept with and then eventually married cheated on him with another person. While it did get called out by Phoebe in one episode over time that got forgotten and he became an insecure person that you (if you wish) easily could pick fault in.

Yeah I did hate how Ross being the ration logic one was considered a bad thing.

TOW the Ski Trip is my absolute least favourite episode of Friends, Ross and Rachel were at the worst during the whole episode. As someone who doesn't hate Friends in contrast (it seems) to my fellow AVCers, even I have a hard time defending that episode.

While it would be great to think that Dr House was a random flight to London (with a British accent), Hugh Laurie is sadly just playing a rude passenger.

*AV Club turns up the next morning to patch things up*

I don't think TPTB were that clever to be that petty. I think it was laziness, they basically semi repeated a plot from previous season with her 'twin' Gabrielle Union.

Replace Nelson with Mickey Mouse (wearing an Ant Man t-shirt).

King Arthur isn't as bad as its box office take, but doesn't necessarily mean this will be any better.

I think it was just Pepper and Jane that got name checked.

Eurgh I'm getting flashbacks of that. Thanks a bunch.

I get your point about Betty in Norton's Hulk, Jennifer Connelly' has far more story to work with in the Ang Lee version.

I liked the Blonsky fight too, as it put in head how I'd expect Cap to fight in a scene like that.

In Norton's defence, wasn't The Incredible Hulk edited down from a longer more deeper story? There was definitely a scene missing between Banner and Samson (in cabin??) that we saw in one of the trailers. Also there was supposed to be sting at the end which saw Banner stumble across Cap's frozen body in the ice.

I'm hoping we get to see Betty again, as such a long term Hulk character should be utilized more (even though Universal aren't going to play ball by allow Marvel to do a solo movie).

Here's a good obit from London Evening Standard

Just checked and this is on Youtube, so I'll try to watch over the weekend.

Hardy's duel roles in that were very good.

[insert Monkees joke here]

This poster is currently my phone background, it's really good.
