Yeah the seemingly default hate toward a white Danny Rand seemed like an odd fight to have about Marvel's diversity. The character's whiteness is one of those rare occasions where it is integral to the plot, as far as I know about him.

Okay so this looks like being Netflix's first Marvel dud from start to finish, considering the second half of each season generally tapers off.

Well Defenders is only 8 episodes, which I'm sad about tbh.

My issue with Pain & Gain is that Bay makes the central duo comedy criminals who slapstick their way through their crimes. Whereas in real life the actual people who the film is based on where anything but dumb meathead bodybuilders.

Don't worry the Daily Mail would make that assumption anyway.

We need some comedy music to go over that footage. Benny Hill being the obvious choice.
