Since AoU onwards the MCU films have been aware of AoS, I never understood why it was so difficult to knock a separate one hour script for latter half of AoS.

You're right that Disney/Marvel could create some new villains, but I'm sure part of the reason for the $4bn purchase of Marvel was to tap into the well of existing characters. Even if they don't have their premier 2 bad guys they still have tons and tons of others.

I don't think tv Rush Hour needed Jackie Chan per se, but it did need more interesting leads.

I'll only watch it there are a couple of middle aged guys successfully beating up a Wushu and martial arts champion.
I like the fact that the guys who created JD & Turk and Shawn & Gus were doing a show together. If only this was Psych/Scrubs maybe more people would have watched.
The show has just started airing over here in UK on E4, which is home to a lot of US imports. The pilot seemed like a half rehash of the original film/story to set up the series, which I agree wasn't very good.
I'm hoping she's hela good.
