Perlmutter sounds like a dick, hopefully things will change as his overall influence lessens.

I've been thinking this for ages. There's only one person who I envisage playing him….

How are we supposed to tell DGR Tomax and DGR Xamot apart when they both have scars?

Where do you go for weird science?

Joking aside, I think the film is pretty watchable.

Transformers was a huge thing for me as a kid. They were the first comics I collected consistently between 85 and early 90's via Marvel UK reprints (with additional UK originated stories).

Cool, shame all the characters that were created are the property of Hasbro. Zartan, Destro, Baroness et al would be great additions to Marvel universe.

Says you! :)

In comparison to the other films, the first one is 'okay'. You could almost make a case for the third being poor-to-watchable, with the other two being downright awful.

I was under the impression that Clement and La Frenais were uncredited writers on this (see my other comment).

Also some props to British comedy writers Clement and La Frenais for touching up some of the script at the request of Connery (I think).

Duke = Nick Fury?

Hey I like Armageddon!

Yeah that was my issue too. The film makes out how hilariously dumb Johnson and Walberg's characters are, when the real life trio (interesting that Bay's marginalises Mackie's character) were all pretty horrific people.

Apart from Enemy of the State, which was released after his death still as part of the duo pairing.

That film wasn't all that good, which was disappointing as it was Michael Mann doing it.

Hmm that just seems like an excuse to get Lincoln to shave his eyebrows and look weird.

The pay is great, but you do have a high chance of running into Inhumans and Hydra agents trying to kill you.

"Daisy, my name is Daisy."

I was thinking maybe Taye Diggs and Christian Bale in Equilibrium?
