If Alfre isn't playing her Luke Cage character (which would make sense, as that wouldn't fit) then are we supposed to ignore her being two different people in MCU.

The way it happened was pretty odd, right in the middle of Ward and Malick talking.

I think both approaches have the merits. There should be more random/funny/odd/whatever episodes (a la Cher loving monster) and there should the standard over reaching arc which may or may not link to whatever upcoming MCU films are out that year.

Yeah it seemed to fit for me or I just caught up in mass hysteria (it happens).

It would be great to see Malick as VP, but I fear that that MCU films will ignore MCU tv shows until someone make a concious effort to.

Off topic: So news broadcast just randomly interupts tv programmes in US then? I found this out while watching my….er…..acquired copy of this week's episode.

I liked the crows from Dumbo, they were the only ones besides Timothy to not make fun of Jumbo Jr.

Oh the innocent days of Looney Tunes.

She's a giant :)

****SPOILERS for US folks*****

I've never read the book, that certainly makes Corky a bit different overall.

Says you!

I guess he had nothing to read, so he couldn't tell that Pine was playing him. Corky on the other hand could.

Tumblr explodes with rage.

He flirted too.

You're absolutely correct, she was great too.

Hugh Laurie and Tom Hollander are the best things in it.

Maybe AVC will do something specific for The Night Manager just before it airs on AMC?

That's my issue with TDKR (and The Watchmen) as great as both those graphic novels were, they shouldn't be the template for ALL comic books stories.

From what I understand it Vandal is the big bad for the whole first season.
