Colin Robinson appears so ‘normal’, and so familiar with modern life, and then comes out with stuff that makes you realize how not normal he is. Things like ‘To quote my favourite comedian, Monty Python.’

He actually concluded with a moment of heartfelt sincerity, similar to that in his final Letterman appearance. But my favorite part came later, when Jim Norton was up and tried mocking Macdonald’s performance. Norm quickly turned it around, though, earning one of the biggest laughs of the night.

A marvelous agent of chaos

The best part of the 2nd Conan clip above is when Andy Richter describes Norm’s joke as like having someone take you on a 4-mile hike to show you a dog turd. Norm falls off the couch laughing and shakes Richter’s hand.

This is not a show to make one tear up, and yet dammit - Spooner & her mom really got me. Their scenes together were so lovely and had real emotional weight and I still miss my own mom who died 20 years ago now, so cue the waterworks.

I’ve had pretty bad anxiety the last couple of years and been borderline unable to focus on anything with a storyline, but WWDITS is the exception to that. I’ve seen every episode and been fervently trying to get everyone I know to watch it. I’m really hoping Nandor and Guillermo become a couple this season.

Agreed overall - this was a really fun movie that earned a lot of good laughs.  That was one perfectly-timed groin kick that got a genuine laugh-out-loud from me.  And the Furby dialogue was absolutely inspired.  Exactly as evil as we always knew those fuckers could be.
