Let’s not forget to congratulate the CGR racing for a near flawless performance. It wouldn’t have taken much of an issue for those two laps to have disappeared...

I do think it’s important to mention Ford/Chip Ganassi’s near flawless run. Yes, they were 0.5 sec faster. Yes, they finished 2 laps ahead of the Corvette.

And they’ll be getting it next year. :)

I was going to make this same comment, but to some extent, no it didn’t. It certainly didn’t hurt that they ran so well. But the fact that the fastest laps were 0.5 sec off suggest that BOP came into effect.
