Time Bandits is an amazing film. I love is trilogy of Time Bandits, Brazil and Baron Munchausen and their themes of imagination, society’s effects on it and striving to get back to that place of child-like imagination.

And that man... was Captain Kathryn Janeway.

At this point I want this season to also wrap up the Peggy Carter show in some way. I was happy Season 4 made references to Peggy Carter Season Two, but what I REALLY want is some conclusion to Leviathan and whatnot.

The Questor Tapes was produced by my uncle, Howie Horwitz, who loved science-fiction but rarely got a chance to do it (unless one counts certain episodes of TV’s Batman, for which he was also the producer).

The latter three of these movies did have something to do with Trek, retroactively. Roddenberry cribbed the post-apocalyptic stuff from Genesis II/Planet Earth for the “Post-Atomic Horror” mentioned in the pilot of ST:TNG, and Data was a direct reworking of Questor. Disney does not need Spiderman anymore. Yes, it would be fucking amazing to have him but they just got an insane amount of IP back from FOX. The X-Men by themselves can give Marvel 2-3 movies a year if they wanted. Disney will let Sony kill Spiderman again and will buy it back at a hefty discount.
