Donald Trump and his whole campaign has been like a truth serum forcibly injected into the American bloodstream. Personally, I’m glad it’s all out there again like the bad old days, instead of the bullshit dogwhistles we’ve been living with for the past few decades.

We’re all being trolled. If this were a movie, we’d all be laughing. But since it’s real life, it’s more like horror.

Not arbitrary at all. I tried black-ish and Fresh Off the Boat. Didn’t like either enough to keep watching. I never could make myself watch Parenthood either, so it’s not just sitcoms. Shows about family, as a general rule, are meaningless to me because none of them resemble my family and our particular dysfunctions.…
