The image in the header seems to be an homage to this:

People are just completely irrational about gas prices. You save $2 per gallon, so that’s what, like $20? Or $30 if you have a big car and your tank is almost completely empty? And according to Google Maps, Tijuana is 20 miles and 40 min away from San Diego, or 40 miles and 80 min round-trip. So you use 1.5 gallons on

Love the ‘69 Charger and have watched them get more & more expensive over the years. But for 72k I’d want a stock R/T with three pedals. Or even a 4-speed SE.

Don’t think there is enough racism to qualify as a true “gamer moment”

There is literally no other way to describe this other than “gamer moment”.

I mean this is a game website, the articles are naturally going to be about games and some of those articles will cover issues with games.

“wHo’s nOt aLwAyS OnLiNe tHeSe dAyS AnYwAy?”

So where are all the people handwaving the the always-online single player requirement because “who doesn’t have a stable internet connection today?”

Considering that styling trends for “manufactured housing” run about 30 years behind traditional housing, this is probably a home built in 2015.

I lived in Alabama for years. I don’t see anything really that impressive, other than the fact this guy is way behind on how much Merch he needs.

People who want a car without all the bells and whistles need to buy the Honda. Acura exist to sell the bells, whistles, and just a tiny smidge of status-appeal (vs. Honda), too.

why tho? enthusiasts will go for manual (it’s 200hp, not enough power to warrant a dct or something) and the people who just like the look of the car or want a more luxurious civic won’t notice if it’s a CVT or auto or DCT anyways. why is this even an issue for you lmao

the WRX had a CVT option, but everyone buys the manual. its expected to buy the manual version of this car too.  people who dont know about cars will buy the cvt.

You probably get bent out of shape about the save logo for most things being a floppy disk, huh?

It’s ownership percent, rather than pure numbers. There are likely more F-150 drivers with DUIs than there are Contours still on the road, but there are so many F150s out there that the percentage of owners is smaller.

Rather than the solution provided in the post, I would suggest that you change the results of the race to reflect Herta, Rossi, Grosjean and Castoneves finshing 1-2-3-4.  Thanks!

I don’t expect jalopnik to survive much longer

I think you are drastically underestimating the size of the Tesla cult. While there’s no way the CT will outsell the Ford Lightning and Chevy SilvErado, I would not be surprised to see it sell ~100k units over the first couple of years of full production. In case you haven’t noticed, we don’t live in a rational world.
