I usually run with a stopwatch on my wrist. I either Google Measure my route and try to stay above a baseline speed/mi or run out-and-back and try to run the same pace both ways.

I hope it works out for them but if they haven’t spent ten bucks on a proven safety measure I worry what else they’ve cheaped out on.

Because it would prioritize short-term stock prices over growing market share or streamlining production or other longer term benefits that might not show up in the company’s performance that quarter.
