Brand loyalty is pretty much hoghwash. It is a thing for marketing. And consumers who are too lazy to do their homework before changing cars. Also, imho, changing cars when you change your socks/gilrfriends is wrong.

They can always come back. We (Europe) get most of the lineup, except the largest ones. These are considered too big/thirsty for the market.

That’s because us consumers want biiig cars. Also, Ford has been big in Europe for ages. Without all this confusing branding GM has been up to. What we were sore about was not getting Mustang (or any of the ponies). But even that has changed now.
