I don’t know. While not a match physically, he really does embody the spirit of Michael Jackson. Literally, of course. So I guess I’m okay with it.

Holy shit. That’s like a Showtime TV series.
“There were two sets of footprints in the sand, but those times where there were a single set of footprints? That’s when I backed the fuck away from you when you tried to drag me into this shitstorm, Jean.”
Yay Bernie! I have to admit, I’m pretty excited to see a non-Christian doing so well. As a secular person, I get very tired of presidential candidates having to pass some kind of “churchiness” test.
I love how of all the costumes, his looks the most out of place.... it’s like a Japanese Sentai hero suddenly appeared in the middle of this standoff....
Dude just stop. Only a whiny little boy can’t face the cold hard truth of our gender- we have a large, long, and statistically verified history of violence against women we’re attracted to. Women don’t. It’s us. Our problem. Sitting here thinking the stupid things you do is cowardly. A grown adult acknowledges the…
So sorry to hear. I totally understand the numbness. I was talking to a friend whose father died unexpectedly. We went back and forth on which way of dying was easier for those left behind. Funny, neither of them.
I imagine he’s too dumb to recognize when a woman smarter than him was humoring him, because otherwise she’d have to deal with the defensiveness and butthurt that men put up when they feel even slightly “emasculated”.
I recently started reading the Expanse after falling in love with the show. I really like them so far and am excited to hear that Nagata gets a POV in the latest book, since I’ve been wanting to know more about her.
There’s always, ALWAYS someone who can’t just let this quote be.
“B-b-b-ut...semantics!”
And yet...I have a feeling he wouldn’t exactly have been the target had a man not been angry that his ex girlfriend had moved on.
Bro. Look at the quote above and think about what it really means. Women live in a world where they get murdered by exes much more than men do. It’s not that the guy dying isn’t a bad thing, but this was a comment on the culture at large, where women don’t have the privilege of feeling safe as much as men do. It’s not…
But by a man who felt slighted because a woman rejected him.
Well, not to undermine YOUR point, but two men were killed.
Think real hard about whether that fact actually undermines the OP’s point.
Yes, but that’s not really the point. Her friend was killed because of her ex boyfriend's anger towards her decision to break off the relationship. This is a fear women face while dealing with controlling significant others. It is an unfortunately reality that we have to deal with.
