It goes beyond just “sluggish” behavior, my Kindle Voyage was refusing to turn off when I closed the cover yesterday resulting in unexpected page turns. A reboot fixed it for me. We tend to forget that Kindles and smart phones are computers too, they do best when restarted every once in a while.

I grew up in an upper-middle class family. We had a fairly big 4 bedroom house, nice yard, big basement, etc. I felt like my family spent half their free time maintaining it.

It’s very easy to fall into the trap of overbuying — especially in real estate and especially when it seems like “everyone else is doing it.” Just because you can afford a big house in a prestigious neighborhood doesn’t mean you need to get one, and it certainly doesn’t mean that it’ll make you happy.
