What a great story! I can definitely see the appeal in that — kind of a fun thing to do on a lark. I will see what Yelp has to say about psychics in my area ;) Thank you!

Thank you — hope you have a great week!

Thank you. I do love the list idea and it's never too late to start. I like the idea of quiet and introspective time instead of the constant buzz and busyness birthdays can become. I know that's one of the things I'm trying to avoid. Good luck with the Master's Degree and the muffins!

I LOVE doing both of those things and I don't mind doing them alone. A nice quiet afternoon is definitely always a good thing! Thank you!

I am totally worried about the stomach drops — that's always what gets me. I am reading about nearby places that allow for the tandem jump and I think that maybe I'll consider it when it gets a bit warmer in spring. It would definitely be an unexpected departure for me! Thanks for sharing your experience :)

That's completely my problem — the motion sickness and jumpy stomach. I'm reading about nearby places to try, and thinking maybe I need to wait 'til it gets a bit warmer this spring...you've planted a seed in my brain! :)

Thank you! I might be a little too chicken for that...I'm terrified of roller coasters...but I don't want to be!

That sounds like so much fun, and definitely something I'd love. I'm going to look into it! Thank you so much for your suggestions!

Fly a plane! Are you a pilot? Did you take a lesson? Tell me more...

You're so nice to let them stay in your home! You get hospitality points, though, and a renewed appreciation of the quiet I hope they left in their wake. :)

I wish you continued optimism and good feelings!

Ungh. Poor guy. They sound super-awful. Did they spend the night?

No. That is not too much to ask for! Can you go to a supermarket and get a pie slice, or half pie? Can you get a pack of those small graham cracker pie crusts and fill one with some kind of yummy filling and feel satisfied? Good luck!

I'm almost halfway done and am forcing myself to stop! I don't want to be making that face. :)

Has anyone ever did anything "significant" to celebrate a birthday? Mine is coming up this week and I'm not feeling one way or the other about it (which is good for me, as I'm usually pretty bummed). My husband and I will go out to dinner that evening, but I'd like to do something kind of simple but memorable on my

Tom's first Italian stop is Pisa. He arrives there by train, after leaving Paris, his European starting point. Then he goes to Mongibello, knowing he will eventually make it to Rome.

Now I am scrambling to find novel on disorganized shelves...

The Talented Mr. Ripley, The Music Man, and Living Out Loud.

I can not resist About A Boy!

I so get this — I live the dog version. Sometimes I have to sit and read/internet/television for hours!
