I’ve never heard of Cindy Moon / Silk. So that headline would have meant nothing to me. Now, I know Silk exists & that there’s a female Korean American superhero in the MCU. I’m Korean. So this makes me happy & piques my interest at least a little bit.
There’s nothing patronizing or egotistical about about the original headline. But it is informative for people who haven’t kept up with the newer Marvel characters.
Defying the series’ tradition of Red, Purple, and presumably other-colored Weddings that end with somebody…
My best case scenario:
Well, I like Silk (except for the whole forced attraction thing that she had with Parker in the beginning). And I do think Silk should get her own movie.
Well, if you’d read the article, Cindy was bitten by the same spider that bit Peter.

As much as I enjoyed Solo, it was unnecessary. As are the Fett and Obi-Wan movies.
He’s hotter than Pine though. I think it’s Hemsworth > Evans > Pratt > Pine.
I’m glad they cut that line because it’s GOD AWFUL! It feeds into the male fantasy that there are no lesbians, only women who haven’t met the right man.
And yet Hollywood’s biggest tentpole films are struggling to even acknowledge that LGBTQ people just exist.
These are so ridiculous. I love it!
You have to give it up for the lighting crew who duplicated the shots perfectly. I’m always impressed when they do that. And the “Waterfalls” gag was perfect.
