Where I worked at a small college pub, the rule (carved into a big wooden sign over the entrance) was “The customer is always given the opportunity to be right.”

I just had a discussion with a friend this week that was basically, “Remember when Dolly Parton complained about how shitty it was that people had to work only one job from 9-5?”

We will be in the market for a new wheelchair van soon.  I wonder what the options are for conversion?  An electric vehicle would be better than an ICE for a seldom used, short trip to the doctor’s office vehicle, right?  It could sit plugged in for a good amount of time, and not leak oil or coolant on my garage…

If cops can sue the public for incidents that happen while they’re on the clock, we need to remove the blanket immunity they enjoy and be able to sue *them* for things they do on the job as well.

TBH, I’d look forward to the older locations reappearing in the future as “dark” versions of their former selves.  Imagine having to fumigate Clovis Bray of darkness to reclaim it.
