If you want to play WolfET, you want to play ETLegacy. It’s just the same thing but maintained still in 2022. The original game is open source, so it’ll always be free, but devs continue to improve it and make it look better.

When I was in China last year, a lot of these kinds of systems were on XP/Vista.
Here’s a video of the rallycross with the Spark... it beat cars with over double the power!
Sure it is. You can go around corners like hell in that thing. Here’s another CVT FWD car I rallycrossed. Plenty fun.
The Spark is more fun to drive than the Optima.
The BRZ’s curb weight is 2700 to 2800lbs. Nobody complains about the Miata because it’s a feather at 2100lbs.
The Miata’s power to weight is about equal to a Dodge Charger R/T (370hp version). The Miata would have to have 155hp to have the same power/weight as the Subaru, and the Subaru would still be slower in the…
There’s a guy in the Northern CA RallyX region that rallycrosses this generation of Camry with the 4cyl, usually with a roof rack for ladders. I did a lap in it once when the Omni broke - it does quite well.
I was at a RallyCross with one of these (yes, really). It was in very nice shape, just like this one. Half way through the event it died and wouldn’t start.
rear wet clutch pump is always primed via an electric fluid pump and can be engaged instantly, and is engaged immediately at some percentage as soon as you touch the throttle. It also engages depending on engine RPM, individual wheel speeds, the yaw angle
One way to think of it is, maybe German employees won’t tolerate building cars with panel gaps.
I don’t get the Nissan hate. I’ve RallyCrossed the Versa and Sentra and found they accelerated and handled quite well. I was very close to an RSX in the CVT Versa recently.
Interior isn’t great but it is like a $12k car.
I’m impressed with Hyundai. I recently rallycrossed a new Elantra and got 1st - beating a Focus ST and Fiesta.
Handles well for an economy car.
Equal length half shafts on the GLHS.
The trans is built into this. Also, electric motors are usually reversible.
If you like this kind of thing, I made one too when I did the Thunderbird rally a couple years ago. 500 miles in the winter.
Nah. Some sanctioning bodies in the US didn’t even allow spectators for a while (NASA/CRS).
What’s awful about the CVT? I’ve rallycrossed a fewer of the newer ones and they do pretty well.
The Versa does fairly well in RallyCross. I didn’t find it boring then.
As someone that owned a couple 240s with relay problems and used a Chevy alternator on a Dodge Omni rally car you sir are a brave man.
I rallycrossed one of these for a few years. The motor is now a donor for the next rally car. They can take a beating.
