I’ve registered cars without titles before. I wonder if you could just go down that route and get a “salvaged” title.

Rallycrossed one of these. Did pretty well - very balanced/fun car.

Are the engines themselves that different? I swapped a longitudinal engine into a transverse setup (newer VW to older VW) which was not so bad as the mounting points were similar. 

He’s used to British cars so it’s a valid question.

I have a 2015 4 cylinder Colorado (rwd, 4k lbs, 200hp, 200 ft/lb, 4.10 rear end) and I average 17mpg city+highway. I get 20mpg while towing a 2k lb car on a 2k lbd trailer @ 60 on the i5.

It’s never too much.

It’s about $7k for a VW sequential dogbox with a short final drive.

I have the base model, WT w/ six speed. By infotainment I guess I mean very simple interface for the AUX port and radio :D :D

Interesting. I swear the infotainment screen in my Chevy truck has made sparking noises.

I got tired of maintaining two vehicles and I need the truck for towing / moving engines and stuff around.

The Maxima is great.

#9 - yup did this once to load a race car onto the trailer. Shop put the car outside for me to pick up at night and did not tell me the ignition stopped working while they were in possession of the car....
