What about appealing to Native Americans who own tribal lands? Casino/Abortion Clinic. Maybe? Do any Native American reservations/lands have abortion clinics on them?

Which is the best non-profit I can donate to to support the delivery of abortion pills (underground railroad)? I don’t have tons of money to donate, but I want to do what I can, knowing it might change at least a few women’s lives.

I love banh xeo! I don’t make it as often as I should because it has a lot more moving parts and important timing than I like. But I generally get the mix they sell at the Asian market. My favorite is with shrimp, bean sprouts, mint, cilantro, pickled onions/carrots, lettuce leaves and nuoc mam.

I thought the “lunch like the French do” would be “drink it.”

Watch some GOP nutter shoot up a polling station which is crowded because the GOP limited mail in voting. Meanwhile, the SCOTUS justices ain’t got to worry about any of that in their big guns-banned stone castle.

We don’t have a Trader Joe’s. Wish we did. But I think the Asian market might have them.

Oooh! I’ll have to look for these. I admit I’m kind of uneducated on potato types and generally stick to the main American basics. But I go to the Asian markets often and I will look for them and experiment.

Missing the Crystal hot sauce in the crawfish or shrimp. Add a good bit of it toward the end because it isn’t spicy, and then remove from heat and stir in the butter a dab at a time so it’s creamy but not separated.

I don’t make fun of provel. If you like it, have at it. I just think it tastes like nothing. I also dislike aged mozzarella. I do like American cheese because it at least has some underlying slight funk - like cheese. Provel, mozzarella and even provolone and Swiss generally just taste like fat to me. I don’t need

Love Houston’s food scene and they have an H mart!! But I think people find it surprising that in smaller town touristy areas like Fort Walton Beach and Pensacola there are some very large Asian communities and markets. Further east along the coast not so much. I haven’t explored along the Alabama, Mississippi

I think he means they like them A LOT! I see it a lot over here in NW FL too. Tourists lika the sauce!

Asian food is prevalent along the Gulf Coast. That’s a surprise to many people who visit down here. Our town has two restaurants that serve Southern homestyle cooking and about 20 Thai restaurants. Our also area hosted a Vietnamese refugee camp in the early 70's, and then there’s a huge military presence and military

I love Big Lots for pastas, sauces, oil and snacks. I’ll often find an International item I wouldn’t have tried otherwise.

I love cilantro fresh, but not so much cooked.

Did you know baked beans are really good with Mexican food? Discovered that when I made fresh corn, poblano, cheese and onion enchiladas and had leftover baked beans in the fridge. My husband asked, “Why do we never eat baked beans with Mexican food? It’s good!” They were the perfect tangy foil for the creamy, cheesy

I first saw her in Electrick Children.  She was wonderful in that movie.

The movie scene that hits me when reading this article is from Prince of Tides. If you know the scene, you know it. Won’t ruin it for you otherwise.

I know it’s cultural, but in the Southern US, you feed EVERYONE. When my kids were young, neighborhood children would often crowd around our table. Even now, I can throw together some good snacks from pantry goods. No one ever goes hungry in my house. It just isn’t done.

I don’t like the flavor of the bottled stuff. I know both incarnations have chemicals, but the shelf-stable version has that fakey mouth feel (you called it glossy...and that’s how it tastes on my tongue).  When I make ranch with the packet at home, I use mayo, sour cream and a splash of buttermilk to thin. Extra

There are very few places where I can eat an entire adult entree. Portion sizes here are crazy! When our kids were small, we just fed them off our plates. I don’t like the idea of dumbing down food for children. And, of course, I was lucky enough not to have particular eaters. Not everyone is so lucky! But I do think
