Thats my wife. 3 month old kid and she wants a suburban or Expedition. I’m arguing for an Edge or a minivan, maybe a Flex. We are surviving with my Fiesta and her ooooooold Focus, but her patience is running thin.

It doesn’t help that a certain model of compressor (maybe an LG brand?) commonly used among multiple manufacturers had a design defect causing failures of newer model fridges. I know 2 people personally who had the same failure and had a helluva time finding a replacement fridge.

I was just about to come in here with a retort about doing dishes and cooking. To be fair though, my wife can vacuum, clean the bathrooms and do common laundry in 1 day, i cook and do the dishes every night, so it feels equitable.

You bring up a good point, when can we stop washing our groceries? My wife insists we do it but we’re the only people i know who do. I’m all for washing produce, but do i really need to wash my frozen pizza?

I’ll argue that Americans love for SUVs is one or two class sizes larger than our European neighbors. Someone in Europe might buy an Escape because they need space for their family. The equivalent sized family in American buys an Explorer. 

We all know 9th generation Fords were the pinnacle of American truck design.

Spicy McChickens aren’t offered everywhere, a disappointing fact i discovered moving to the midwest. Regular McChicks are nowhere near as good.
