Do you feel better now, edgelord?

Once more, with feeling: fuck this orange shitstain, fuck the GOP for creating an atmosphere where he could win, and fuck the people who voted for him and haven’t apologized to the rest of the country yet.

I thought the movie was at its best when Gadot and Pine were on screen together. Agree about the ending though. I also wasn’t a big fan of the first act. The conflict between Diana and her mom felt really contrived.

“but in no way is it a great feminist gauntlet thrown down at the film industry.”

We live in a media environment where everyone has to take everything to the Nth degree. WW can be a solid incarnation of the strong woman capable of taking care of herself, a positive feminist message, without requiring that the movie be the greatest step in the history of cinematic feminism. Some people just need to

He’s certainly not going to let anyone forget it.

No, but at least its feminist at all. I mean, WW is strong, she kicks all the asses, her boyfriend steps aside as she kicks the asses. My daughters were completely surprised and excited, seeing a movie where the badass woman wins the day.

Chris Pine was the first man she met. And if you see a unicorn, you’re going to want a ride. I agree on the bad ending and side characters, but I was buying the romance.

It’s never too soon to tell Mr. Cameron to go fuck himself.

It should be remembered that James Cameron is an asshole.

I especially enjoyed seeing all the different outfits and hairstyles Janet would adopt with every reboot. Busty Alexa can rock anything and everything.

Did anyone else notice that the number of clown items in Eleanor’s house keeps increasing with each of Michael’s new attempts?

You mean... Vicky should get a bigger part?

By now it should be obvious....they know you shippers exist, they know what you want, and they are never, ever going to give it to you, electing instead to insert one tease in each episode that almost goes there but not quite.

This show actually invokes fear in me because every episode it goes through twenty plots ahead of where a regular show would go. I can genuinely say this show is unpredictable and I can’t remember the last show that was that way

I like the childhood bullies line because it trips you up for a second. For how long exactly was Chidi planning to be a professor? It seems like something he should have endlessly agonized over, comparing against an equally good option like...

There’s nothing that screams TV reviewer more than “this show is good now, but what if it isn’t one day? Then what?” I absolutely hate that line of thinking so much, and so many of them fall into that. Judge the show on what it is, not what it might one day be.

I’m not too sure that sitting at home alone with no cocaine while everybody that comes to your house has no cocaine when all you want to do is do cocaine is the medium place.

This show is absolutely brilliant. Can we convince Mike Schur to run for president? If his ideas for the country are half as good as his ideas for TV shows, we can’t lose.

As a New Englander, I’m glad that they used New England clam chowder in the fountain (cuz the Manhattan one is nonsense), but I am offended how much Eleanor insulted the chowda.
