I wouldn’t care if it was just garden-variety bad television. The problem is it’s good watching (excellent production values) with horrifyingly blithe sexual violence, hatred of women, and white supremacist underpinnings. It should be panned at every opportunity.

You reap what you sew. If you’re going to try and make your cash off the suffering of others, you deserve what you get.

I hate that I need to repeat this (a position that I KNOW you are intimately familiar with, Mr Harriot!) BUT:

I dont get the outrage. Being Black myself, I applauded her. She pretty much called the school out and others on their bullshit and exposed the stark contrast between Black and White. She never claimed to be an activist or anything like that. She saw the double standard, and proved that it existed.

Huh.

Drug Robot is going to give The Americans’ Mail Robot a run for its money.

“Dev mystifyingly loses touch with her”

God, Arnold is simultaneously my least favorite character, and the one I get most excited to see show up. He’s so insanely narcissistic (even for a show full of narcissists) and privileged that it’s hard to like him, yet Dev absolutely GLOWS whenever Arnold shows up.

Binged the new season on Saturday! LOVED IT! Especially Arnold.

I get legit annoyed when the house hunters don’t pick the house I think they should have picked (I know the show is completely fake). And don’t even get me started when I watch House Hunters Renovation and they butcher a house. That couple in Buffalo with that ugly-ass kitchen still gets my blood pressure up.

Le Pen isn’t done and the ideology that got her this far isn’t done. Good job France, but don’t forget that she got a third of the vote and set a record amount of results for the far right. For now though:

They need to give Sasheer Zamata a chance to shine! And get rid of Michael Che.

I liked the Christian-based calendar thing and I loved the whole bit on Achilles (can’t ANYTHING your Mom does be ENOUGH? Wear a big SHOE!) but oof... the first half hour or so was pretty rough and fell uncomfortably flat. Like someone else said upthread; I got the vibe that headspace-wise he was in a worse place than

The Chapelle Netflix shows, which bafflingly got rave reviews from multiple outlets, were so incredibly painful to watch, and unfunny on so many levels.

Definitely shit on Louies part. In his prime he was as funny a stand up I’d seen, I mean laugh out loud til your crying funny. Chapelle and Carlin are right there for me too. Anyway I turned on Netflix tonight (It’s 230am here in Dubai) and started to watch Louies newest stand up. Absolutely cringeworthy. The audience

Does this film have any merits?

Curious how her experience being married to a billionaire colors her performance

This just dawned on me. Jared Kushner looks like Orin from Parks and Rec.

Easter bunny costumes veer creepy very quickly.
