One summer in high school (a year or two before Episode 1), I watched the original trilogy back-to-back-to-back every night for two months. I stopped caring about Star Wars sometime after Episode 3, but this week I tried watching everything again leading up to Episode 9.

The only time I see/hear the word badass nowadays, it’s towards a woman doing something traditionally masculine or not womanlike. When someone brought it to my attention years ago, I can’t unsee it. 10 times out of 10, 100% of the time.

I would watch it depending on the cast. Geena Davis, Lori Petty, Madonna, Rosie O’Donnell, Jon Lovtiz and Tom Hanks are big shoes to fill.
