I’m ready to ditch most of the current pop stars that have been around this decade. They’ve been phoning it in for too long.

Moby’s Play, much like The Crystal Method’s Vegas, was one of those electronica/big beat type of music that was everywhere in the late 90's.

I only saw that first couple of seasons of the original, but I liked how most of the early cast was 16-ish to 20 and not 12 year olds.

I don’t doubt his passion of fishing/hunting, but that looks like a son who is desperately trying to prove to his heartless father that he is a true man’s man.

It’s a Sonic the Hedgehog movie in 2019, literally the only people who are going to watch it is in the first two weeks and it’s going to drop the hell off the top 10.

Most of the folks on Twitter seemed like they were making fun of how bad it looked rather than actively hating on it. Paramount would’ve probably made a decent $200 million out of kids and irony-loving adults watching it anyway. People like watching train wrecks, including me.

Every actor needs to pay off or pay for something in their life.

A bunch of film bros told on themselves about what kind of films they don’t consume.

They got a movie for everything now, huh?

I usually think of Sean Bean’s character in GoldenEye (movie or game).

I wasn’t too thrilled about Hereditary, and this isn’t doing much for me. I get that it’s a horror movie and people make dumb decisions, but if I HAD to go to a festival, that shit better have corporate branding all over and a website, at least. Anything less than that, it’s a cult.

Cooke Maroney is a white dude name generator-ass name.

Definitely. Country music people has pivoted from people who mostly grew up in rural areas to non-coastal suburbanites who have never seen a cow up close.

That was the first thing to come to mind for me. I doubted myself for a millisecond before I scrolled down and of course the first comment is “Atlantic City”.

This is good because I was a bit underwhelmed with the last episode. Mostly my fault because I wasn’t aware I was watching the finale. I lost track of how many episodes were left.

Finally got around to seeing The Tale a couple of months ago. Recommend it to anyone with HBO.

Allow me to clarify in case people are confused, but that’s literally what I’m talking about. Most of the songs are sung/rapped in Korean with some English words sprinkled in.

*songwriters, not singer-songwriters

Blackpink are successful enough to make money, but obviously not as much as they should. It depends, but their agency, YG Entertainment - despite embroiled in controversy - is the 2nd biggest company in the country. Essentially, they have a head-start.

I don’t keep up with everything but it’s still uncommon, at least for the few groups I keep up with (BTS, Twice, IU, SNSD, Shinee, Red Velvet, etc.). Jennie knows English and lived in New Zealand, and Kpop does incorporate western singer-songwriters lately, so I imagine it’s only been the past 2-3 years.
