I recommend the Whitney documentary that came out last year. I was able to see it in theaters before it left and it’s one of my favorites of 2018. It’s on Hulu (at least in US).

Depends on if you like inoffensive/easy-listening pop-rock that appeared on VH1 from 2004-2011.
I mean, he walked the narrow carpet out there minutes before, so he knew what little room he had.
The weird thing is “Boy with Luv” on the album has Halsey upfront during the choruses. Maybe BigHit were too gun shy to have her the focus in the mv? I dunno. The mv is beautiful as hell but I totally forgot about her until she showed up at the end.
Yeeaahh...even South Korea sounded like they weren’t too impressed with BP’s performances on American television. They’re not known for their dancing anyway, but they looked tired. I imagine they’re working 12-hour days with little sleep and barely any days off, but that’s common for most groups. I dunno, something…
Not sure how I feel about “Kill This Love” yet. Still processing. I’m just not a fan of songs ending abruptly; I was expecting a drop and a 30-second outro. Not exactly in love with the horns, too.
Now if it were Todd Haynes, I would be there day one. Shit, forget Joaquin, let’s see Cate Blanchett as the Joker. She did Dylan, might as well.
Now I’m thinking of that scene in Rookie of the Year. You know the one.
Unfortunately it’s Todd Phillips directing and I don’t like any of his recent work (Hangover series, War Dogs) and the films I did like years ago only applied to me being a child (Old School).
Looks like basically everyone who’s ever been in a Jim Jarmusch film.
+1. Taylor Swift literally wrote a song about it, too.
I remember I stopped dating someone at 18 and tried to win them back by compiling a mixtape with songs that “meant something to me (and us, but really me)”. But then I got stoned and realized the following day how self-serving it was.
Now I remembered that Morissette and Ryan fucking Reynolds were once engaged to be married. They were together for almost 5 years.
Music biopics in a post Walk Hard world are completely unnecessary (and profitable, apparently), but I have zero faith in the co-creator of Jackass as the director.
I saw the remake of Orient Express and it reaffirmed my desire to be on a train like that, traveling through Europe. Feels comfy.
This feels like one of those obvious solutions to just have actors of all shapes, colors, and sizes instead of continuing to hire the usual dozen of Famous People Who Are Thin.
I meant more as in not having the free time available to watch *a* show.
I think I originally found it deep when I was a wannabe pseudo-intellectual high school freshman who watched cartoons all day.
She was like, a marriage counselor, too. I stopped once they got to Jake Paul’s house only to fold and reconsider everything they said about him once Jake showed the minimum amount of hospitality, lol.
I don’t follow him, but some YouTubers like him started fairly early on the platform’s existence and it grows from there. People don’t necessarily have to be talented as long as they got there first.
