1st: A GT500 is more fit for a proper dinner date. Not boring, anyway.
3rd: I kinda dig the idea of a crossover(?) van-looking thing with suicide doors. Just not sure that concept works in a city when parking is tight.

This is why I put status in quotes. It is very arguable.

That 260hp engine ended up on one of the iterations of the Ariel Atom. My friend has one, and even as an experienced racer it’s the one car in his collection he says scares him.

Pole: 1, Viper: 0

Just without the “status” and expected turn signal neglect.

We have a 2014 Sorento with the base 2.4 wheezebox. At 31k miles the oil consumption has been normal; I haven’t had to add oil between changes. Is this something only happening with higher mileage engines?

I always figured if 6' 6" Michael Jordan can fit into a TR512 then 6' chubby me can fit in something fun. Of course, this was many years ago, and he *was* an athlete, but still..

If the clutch isn’t slipping, it’s still good. Driving across country means a lot of highway miles with little shifting, so I don’t think that’s going to take much life out of it. There are other reasons why taking that trip in a 30-year-old Benz might not be advisable.

Sounds good, unless it’s raining. Then you have to get all origami to fit yourself inside. But that’s exactly what I did a few years ago when I reviewed the Alfa 4C roadster. The rake of the windshield was a danger to your forehead when getting in, but it was *much * easier to manage.

Not at all. When I was in auto recon many years ago, we used HF to clean wheels as it worked quickly and well. We were very careful not to inhale the fumes and the shop was well ventilated when we did use the stuff.

Nope. You just don’t let it sit on the wheel too long, or the rim’s clear coat will haze. IIRC we’d spray it on and maybe a minute later hose it off. Amazing stuff, but just have good ventilation when using it as it’s not friendly to your lungs - don’t breathe the fumes.

Ugh, hideous. Way too busy.

Hydrofluoric acid wheel cleaner to the rescue. Spray on, hose off.

It blows my mind that the top Sporty model now costs more than the entry-level big twin Softail. If there is a new 975 Sporty, I think it should be priced between the Forty-Eight and the Softail Standard.

You’d never know this thing started as a VW Bug.

Not her best. Celebrity Skin would’ve been a better choice imho.

A harsh assessment imho. The smooth brain would’ve been on the boat’s operator.

Sure. The crew probably reported hydraulic system problems to ATC and they rolled the crash trucks as a precaution. BTDT.

The 225 was only used for outsized cargo transport; it’s not a normal freighter so it didn’t fly much.
