those were both good, competetive numbers with it’s contemporaries though. it had more power than a contemporary prelude SI, for example. the celica turbo could beat it, sure, but the celica turbo was kind of an outlier.
At the time a popular remark in the industry was that Ford got lucky before they got good. They very nearly went under years before GM had to be bailed out.
Trump is dumb enough to be pleased by this but 300 million is nowhere near enough to offset the closure of a whole factory. That is what you get when you vote in a hypocrite.
Yeah, I wasn’t aware of the particulars of that deal but it’s a given that the big three are always on the take from the taxpayer in some way (tax incentives, bailouts, etc.).
I would be more enthusiastic about a new GM EV-heavy hybrid like the Volt. My son is over the moon about his and seeing how his energy usage breaks down, I can’t blame him. Electricity isn’t even very cheap where we are but his energy per mile costs are still ridiculously low.
Being thin-skinned and defensive does not help to communicate your thoughts more clearly.
Deploy countermeasures! If we’re going down, we’re taking the cement-deploying bastards with us!
The power discrepancy is an easy fix with nothing more than a simple tune on the Abarth’s boosted mill, but god help you if the dealership decides that you’ve voided the warranty because you’ll be paying through the nose for repairs.

Unfortunately, the Germans are a little touchy over any slogans that end in “makes it free.”
All I can think is how many parts will need replacing because the car sat unused for so long.
I read that it was the co-pilot who had only 200 hours. But info is being pushed out so quickly there’s no telling what’s accurate and what’s not.

unless it’s chrome on a Harley. I think the book values on Harleys take it as a given that the bike is chromed out, anything not chrome is wiggle room to haggle down.
The only way I could justify buying this, sweet as it is, would be if I had so much money I have my own country to play around in. There I could let this beast ROAR and nobody could stop me. It’s just a big damn toy!
that picture and that sign will never not be horrifying.
Hey, GM needs some means to convince buyers to go back into the showroom for one of those thousands of new C7s laying around.
