“It had the the right wheel base, the perfect engine power; driving it was the most fun I had as an actor.”

A greater truth has ne’er been told.

::golf clap::

What’s most amusing to me here is the fact that a silly comment on a forum has triggered such a mindless rant from you. Thanks for the chuckle.

A pilot can absolutely override an autopilot command. The control yokes have an “AP Disconnect” button to do just that. The issue might be after disconnecting the AP and firewalling the power levers the jet wanted to pitch up to the airspeed it was trimmed for, and there’s some quick action needed to trim the nose

I doubt another aircraft would’ve taxied onto the runway in the opposite direction of landing traffic, but who knows? Maybe it was Take Your Kid to Work day.

No big deal, just an extra 10 mins in the air.

The girl with the thong has a nice booty. That is all.

We’re gonna need a new boat.

SO tired of black, white, silver and 50 shades of grey. I don’t expect day-glo colors from an OEM but they need more color options.

$70k and it comes in glossy grey primer? Yeeeesh.

::cringe::

It’s all about the visual.

Imagine how pissed the guy in 10F was after finding out he got hit in the head by a 3-roper...

Zip tie his hand to his dick maybe? You know, just to preserve the evidence trail?

What inconvenience? Fractionals have large fleets to avoid such situations. Worst case if there’s not a fractional a/c available there’s always charter. He might be flying so much that it just makes more sense to own instead of going the frac or charter route.

I flew for a charter company a few years ago and concur. If you can afford it, it’s awesome.

I’ve owned five VWs since 1992, and all have been good cars. The last three were TDIs, and I attribute my experience largely to the fact that I managed to skip the problematic Mk4 cars which damn near ruined VWs reputation in the US. Kinda sucks that they’re letting the Passat go, but that car never set any sales

I’ve said as much after seeing the C-5 Galaxy fly with three engines. I’d bet the 225 could fly light on five engines.

Camaro production stopped - did anyone even notice?
