A GNX clone is high up on my list of car projects I’d love to do, but instead of a turbo 6 I’d go with a 500hp LS3 crate motor.
They would have to design a new frame anyway to mount the Rev Max motor. It’s completely different than the Milwaukee Eight because it’s isolation mounted whereas the M8 on the Softail chassis is not.
A friend of mine is a co-captain on a 650. Hourly cost is a little north of that.

I know, that’s why I figured there’d be a lot of engineering involved to put the l/c motor on the existing frame. Otherwise they’ll have to design a new frame around the Rev Max motor and offer it as a new model.

I had an ‘03 VTX 1800C and loved it. Then I bought a ‘97 Lowrider and loved it more, so the Honda got sold. Go figure.
I think their big twins will eventually be re-engineered for the Revolution Max, if it’s possible without completely redesigning the bike.

Funny, that’s pretty much why I bought my Trans Ams too, but even then, I knew they were pretty sluggy. Wish I had that anniversary car now though.
The suspension has also been modernized, with a solid rear axle suspension replacing the independent setup from before.
