Steelies and what looks like glossy gray primer make this cheap truck look cheap. But I can see owning one of these for a future vehicle, just in a higher spec trim. 

Did this guy paint the truck with undercoat? Or just the worst rattle can respray ever?

As a kid who grew up watching Magnum P.I. I always loved the 308. Until I drove one. I don’t know how Selleck did it at 6' 4" but I’m 6 and found the driving position very uncomfortable.

I don’t keep up on this but thought all new snowmobiles were 4-stroke by now? I like the idea of an electric sled, but wouldn’t the cold temps restrict the battery output and therefore range? 

You may be right about the defective cell replacement; it sounded too good to be true when I read it a long time ago. As far as charging a battery to 100% and letting it run down to zero, that does sound right but I’ve read that a battery should be run down to zero occasionally to prevent battery memory. I’m not sure…

I’ve been told Prius batteries can have individual cells replaced when they go bad vs replacing the entire battery pack. My 1998 Jetta TDI went 220k miles with just normal repairs & maint. The original clutch was tight when I sold it too. There were few options on the car to break - A/C always blew cold and the sunroof was manual. The thing was a trooper.

I don’t know what the battery replacement cycle is for hybrid vans, but the idea of a more complex hybrid powertrain probably won’t do much for overall reliability. Esp if you plan on keeping it past the mfr warranty expiration.
