I think The Cosby Show will be brought back eventually. Its ridiculous for MJW or anyone else to think that should happen when the controversy with lawsuits and trials is ongoing rather than a past scandal.

7th Heaven wasn’t Collin’s show. He was just an actor in the show. The Cosby Show is Cosby’s creation and it’s named after him. So it’s a bit different. 7th Heaven was removed from the air for a while but brought back when the controversy died down. The Cosby Show could very well come back at some point. But with a

Don’t forget Electrical Engineers. Everyone I know with an EE degree gets laid off on a fairly regular basis.

I assume it’s illegal to distribute porn to minors, so he may be in big legal trouble. Hopefully Jez will update this story.

I think it depends on the situation. If for example the teacher is allowing students to use the calculator on the phone or an educational app, what’s in the photo roll should be irrelevant, as long as he’s monitoring the students to ensure they don’t access something they shouldn’t access. If a teacher lets students

To be fair they didn’t kill her and it’s awful to suggest they did. What they’re responsible for is ignoring the fact that she was suicidal and not taking steps to prevent her death. Of course, she shouldn’t have been arrested in the first place. Unfortunately there’s not much that can really be done other than the

It’s easy for the police to demonize anyone because their word will always be believed over that of a civilian. Look at the case of Cindy Hahn. She’s white but would likely have gone to jail for assaulting a cop if it wasn’t for a video of the incident. Her lawyer presented the video to the DA the evening before the

He has to approve everything so she can’t do that.

You seem desperate to defend this guy when even his colleagues like Max Martin and Benny Blanco haven’t said a word in his defense. Like I said if his own colleagues aren’t defending him its really stupid for anyone else to.

And its actually the second time she’s shut her career down to escape this contract. She went to a lawyer in late 2005 and said she’d been raped and abused by Luke. Lawyers worked for two years to get her out of the contract. In 2008 Luke demanded she return to fulfill her contract. Those are two years she could have

People who know Luke are siding with Kesha. No one has come to his defense. He’d been called psychotically controlling and verbally abusive long before this lawsuit was filed. If people in the music industry who know Luke aren’t defending him, its kind of stupid for anyone outside the industry to do it.

An abuse victim protecting their abuser due to fear happens all the time. So many people who’ve worked with Luke have come out in support of Kesha.

Not according to critics. Her last two releases had Metacritic scores of 73 and 71. For comparison, Adele’s 25 has a Metacritic score of 75. Her Warrior album also made some best of year end lists. The stuff you hear on the radio tends to be her worst song. Her better songs have never been released as singles.

He’s produced so many songs it’s likely you’ve heard lots of his songs. The songs Kesha has done with other producers are far superior generally to what she’s done with Luke. The songs he does for her are always so generic and uninspired while the stuff other people produce for her is so great. Like Past Lives

That’s a mistake. $60 million is what they invested in Luke’s imprint label. They invested $11 million in Kesha.

Everything I’ve read about this case points to Kesha being the one telling the truth. Plus Kesha’s very well liked in the industry. People always describe her as friendly and humble. Luke is regularly labeled a douchebag. The host of Young Turks was saying she used to work as a hostess at a restaurant. She said Luke

Someone can correct me if I’m wrong but I think criminal behavior is grounds for cancellation of a contract. It’s never expressed in contracts but it’s implicit. Of course, that has to be proven in court first.

It’s a Sony imprint label. Sony invested $60 million and the label has lost millions.

This song is terrible but I’ve started to like her song Ghost which my daughter plays every time we get in the car.

New artists are worked to death. It’s hard in the first couple of years until they get established. Plus they’re trying to make an adjustment to sudden fame and being in the public eye which must not be easy.
