The Otters Knew Alex Was Still Around

Why. Why on earth would you even ask this?

And let the facts get in the way? Pshaw.

This internet stranger is very happy for you!

No matter how many times I see it, this gif is perfection.

That’s not a bad idea!

These are quite nice! I’ve never seen them offered in the few venues I’ve seen monogramming offered but it fits the style really well.

I’ve never had that and would love to try it! I will verify with my MI-born housemate on the veracity of this statement. My second favorite after apple is strawberry rhubarb.

Yikes! The most I know is my friend S who has three middle names, including Shemsedin (which I mention only because the dog was also named Shemsedin but went by Shem. We once tried to feed Shem a Jujube. Shem would have none of it. I would say “be like Shem” except I like Jujubes, so YMMV).

Perhaps there is a Law of Conservation of Monogramming where this could apply retroactively to my bath towels.

Mother of god.

The name change option if I married the boy would take me down from 18 letters to 9 for first and last. I don’t sign anything with my middle names for any reason except my passport because I think they made me?

Update! I just looked at Garnet Hill. They have some options that allow for names in certain styles, but not in the Mongrammed™ style. Those still have a 3-character limit.

I will confess it has been a while since I had anything monogrammed, but every time I look into it, it’s a 3-letter limit.

I wouldn’t mind if they would just let us have extra letters. But noooooo only three allowed. My bath towels are forever inadequate.

You would think but as a similarly quadroinitialed person, they don’t let you have more than three!

I have two middle names which means four initials, which means mongramming will never accurately reflect my personage. :(

This is a dangerous game you’re playing. Pie people have Opinions.

PREACH.

So it does.
