Ah, yeah, just rewatched the part you meant around 6:45. They weren’t saying Bird Box is an example of a low budget movie. They were just saying that it’s a good lead to follow if you have a low budget for a movie because it relies on the audience’s imagination doing the work.

On a similar note, I’m really surprised that they have yet to give Hiram a shirtless scene but they’ve given Tom Keller two. That’s not meant to be a dig at Martin Cummins who is in great shape but Mark Consuelos is on the show way more often and he’s hot as hell to boot.

Re: Jughead’s narration, I’m still super into this framing device but I’m getting really sick of him constantly referring to the “once innocent town of Riverdale” or closing an episode saying that the events have “forever altered Riverdale” or “put the final nail in the coffin…

I agree. I never really cared about Hal in the first two seasons but I found his scenes to be the highlight of this episode. I’m hoping there’s more Hal Lecter to come. 

I have a theory that I wouldn’t bet any money on.

I feel like Black’s screaming style would be a good fit for adapting Ross’s various outbursts into a song. I can distinctly hear his take on “MY SANDWICH”, “WE WERE ON A BREAK”, “I’m making FAJITAS” and “GET OFF MY SISTER” in my head.

I only really got into Pixies in like 2013 and went through a phase of rhapsodizing about Surfer Rosa to anyone who would listen so I certainly don’t have a problem with a 2 year old hot take

As someone who faithfully watched from the day it premiered to the day of the finale, I’m not sure you do lol. It started out great but it went so far off the rails. Seasons 1 and 2 are great, Seasons 3 and 5 are pretty good, Season 4 is iffy and Seasons 6-7 are an unmitigated disaster haha
