it’s “possible that introducing female protagonists is somehow an easier, less threatening fix than hiring women directors and writers.”

*crosses fingers that you know this Twilight Zone reference*

Is it really sexist if I say the only good Tom Cruise is a pantsless 20 year old Tom Cruise?

I moved to Arizona. I’m hoping to see this joint go bluer each election.

I think you mean What’s the Matter With Kansas? But I wholeheartedly co-sign that pick.

At the beginning of Hidden Figures I thought, I hope they don’t shoehorn a love story into this movie. Then he showed up and I decided I was fine with it.

As a Chewbacca I tend to think of it the way I do the South and Slavery. A relatively small percentage of Southerners owned slaves and directly profited from the slave trade but almost all of them were racist as fuck and generally ok with the system as it existed, so fuck ‘em.

You’re impeached!

SIT DOWN PIERS, YOU FAT MOTHER[BLEEEEEEP]!

So interesting how little empathy people are showing for this woman after her home was invaded and destroyed in such a personal manner. I wonder why that is? People seemed to have a bit more empathy for Kim K. Curious.

So basically I just shouldn’t even bother putting my tiny violin away. I need to find it too often these days.
