I’ve never seen any of these films (my age and my unwillingness to be triggered has prevented me), but I really wish there were more movies that talked about diet culture and how it leads to EDs.

It could be argued that Lafayette was ever the only genuinely likeable character on TB, entirely because of Mr. Ellis’ immense talent and effortless charm.
There were times where he was the only likable character on that show. How sad, he was so young.
Thou shall not steal motherfuckers. Which commandment is this one?
I feel bad for someone that stunted who literally cannot have a connection with a female human being without sexualizing it, for sure. That doesn’t mean I’m going to be okey-dokey with that kind of gross behavior.
Yep. These things never happen in a vacuum. It’s his first time getting caught, but it sure isn’t his first rodeo.
On the way out, he pushed himself onto me to the point where I was backed into a corner, made contact to kiss me, and said something along the lines of “Just one night, please just this one time.”
nope, because this is actually sexually assault. it’s not rape, but it is sexual assault. there is a distinction, and your inability to make it is concerning.
It’s assault even if a victim/recipient copes well. Nothing about their ability to handle the attacker’s behavior mitigates the fact that they committed assault. Nothing about being drunk or sad mitigates the fact that the attacker has attacked someone else. It’s an attack on someone else’s person whether it leaves…
All drinking does is remove inhibition, it doesn’t turn someone into a different person. If they assaulted you while drunk, they were thinking about doing it while sober but didn’t because with a clear head they understood there would be consequences.
I’d tell these dudes: if you drink so much that you’re “uncharacteristically” willing to sexually assault someone, then you need to stop drinking so much.
This is “actual sexual assault”. If you don’t think that physically forcing sexual contact with someone who’s repeatedly said “no” to your sexual advances and asked you to leave their home is “actual sexual assault” just because the sexual contact wasn’t penetration, you’re probably confusing sexual assault (a general…
He looks fine. He has a good job. He could date just fine. The problem isn’t that he’s a loser, its that he seems to specifically be into harassing women.
It’s not a matter of opinion, it’s just a fact: assault, sexual or not, is still assault even when the attacker was drunk and/or feels they’ve made a mistake by assaulting someone.
There’s no way she’s the only one.
Based on what Hoy said about her encounter with McClure. I would guess he gets off on trying to manipulate women. He kept trying to get Hoy drunk. He knew she was in a relationship. Then said something about like strong women and only getting with her one time. I wouldn’t be shocked if he was on a blacklist.
Any guy who makes a point to say he’s attracted to “strong and smart women” (after telling everyone at the party to leave so he can serve more alcohol to a woman who doesn’t want anymore or anything to do with him) doesn’t actually care if a woman is strong or smart, he just wants to have his way with them and is…
Every man wants a successful intelligent woman until they realize the reason we are successful is because we won’t put up with bullshit.
TBH, unless I know them personally, when I hear a man say that he wants a “smart and strong woman” I always translate that to “I want a woman that others see as smart and strong so that they will think better of me, but I don’t actually want her to upstage me in any way.”
I am so sick of this shit! Men in power intimidating women, sexually assaulting them, and the women feeling powerless to say anything until AFTER a report comes out - or a male comedian blasts these predators for their behavior. How many morons will then ask - “why did she wait so long?”
