Dang, I wish we got the Ford Transit Custom (second from right) here.

Clearly you’ve never done a lot of walking in cities or lived somewhere where biking or walking to work makes more sense than a car. For one, you should always be ready to avoid a pedestrian walking in the street or a bike darting out from a drive because that happens about every 5 minutes.
But is Torch BJ or is he the Bear?
I don’t think you can argue that it isn’t a bold design choice for the Camry and a rather unexpected shift from beige appliance to a slightly artificial “four door sports car” type approach. I actually like what they’ve done with it. It isn’t bad looking even with all the visual clutter.
A dead horse? Must have been the shortest life of a horse ever. There’s still a lot to be said about the design and found the article to have a reasonably well articulated opinionated stance.
And advertising the price a little too high makes it less likely someone will buy it to drive a year and scrap.
You’re right. I like what they’ve done in profile minus flipping the Hoffmeister upside down and the rear is quite nice. It doesn’t exactly reflect the front but how could it? I do think I’ll like it more in person. Kind of like how the emergency refreshed Camaro actually doesn’t look that bad in person.
I’m not sure whether to be more impressed at the balls or the money of the kind of person who is already on their second track built Supra. I don’t deny it is a fun, bold, and stylish sportscar, but it’s just not one that makes the most sense in a crowded market.
And those people always drive cars that have combined turn signal and brake lights so they are actually making it significantly harder to avoid them if they slow down.
Well it makes a fun game to see how perfectly you can keep the wipers wiping.
I keep a well lubricated windshield, but that’s just good safety practice.
This was as close as they could get to the Duke’s favorite makeout spot without attracting attention.
Correct, but most software designed to recognize humans is heavily racially biased from the way it was written (or self learned in most cases). The car might not recognize the difference between a human with darker skin and a shadow as well. I'd like to them test it at least.
I think we can agree that making a BMW more polarizing in the styling department, giving it a different tune, and selling it at the same price as a Bimmer missed the mark a bit. I liked the idea behind it but the execution and price bracket leaves a little something to be desired in an intensely competitive market.
Yeah, the people who want a lifestyle sports car will get the Z4 and the people want performance will buy something different. The Supra isn’t too shabby in performance but from what I hear you really know what you’re giving up day to day in comfort to have that performance while the price tag puts a lot more power in…
Imagine if they gave the 86 a new body with chassis improvements and a genuinely nice interior (like Nissan is doing with the Z) and gave it some power as a high volume powertrain option. That would be brilliant!
I think it is the same philosophy that made both not quite make sense in the real world.
I agree. The Supra looks like something special for sure. I just don’t get who exactly it is for.
Airbag blows your hand straight back into your face there.
