To be fair, VW sold a lot more cheating diesels (chieasels?) over a lot longer or a period of time. The environmental impact was much greater in that case.

A good condition jelly bean F150 crew cab would be worth a little less than that in this condition with a salvage title. I think the Blackwood boring-delete package makes up for the price discrepancy. It's a stupid vehicle but an interesting one. I'd bite.
My family on my dad’s side has owned mostly Fords. These Fords mostly fell apart in amusing ways.
I fear Atlanta is not one of them. There are small preserves (Palisades Unit—Indian Trail on the ‘Hooch for instance) but no actual publically accessible wilderness to be found.
I want to know what city they’re basing this on that actually has beautiful wilderness left that hasn’t been turned into suburban tract homes
Thanks for picking up this nightmare fuel, Tom! I wasn’t sure when I suggested it if it was PG-13 enough for this site ;)
Theirs was a special case. The Quadrifoglio models are difficult to own even if they’re not that unreliable simply because there aren’t many mechanics certified to work on them so you’ll be waiting on labor for even longer than you’ll be waiting on parts. The regular Guilias and Stelvios are reasonably reliable by the…
I think this is all that is left to be said.
I think the DOTs need to be better connected with a lot of things. The Department of Transportation is about to be a whole lot better connected with funds at least.
“Mexico, where the Pope is essentially a rockstar, we call the supreme pontiff el Papa.”
The part about driving in stop and go traffic and never coming to a stop is a little different though. I too like to play the game of never coming to a complete stop in backed up interstate traffic but only to a point. It’s actually an effective method to dispell phantom traffic jams and you get better gas mileage…
Even that would have been more interesting than the small stretch I saw. Or maybe I missed it. I don't claim to have had a comprehensive experience of New Jersey but what experience I did get wasn't inspiring.

And if only that off topic forum had somehow broken free of its Herby overlords and gone independent. Hmmm.

I’m happy to hear you at least are going to get it back. Last time I heard you talk about this you thought it had been chopped up. Hopefully it’s not irepairable damage like the van.
Does the Hummer EV just really hate the East Coast or something?
People give the gen one grief for being an Elantra underneath or whatever lame excuse they have for taking it far too seriously. Both gens of Veloster are a great example of an OEM really trying something different and it working. The whole point is that it’s kinda ridiculous but fun even if it isn’t the fast version.…
It’s telling that there isn’t a single ungrayed comment so far that laments the regular Veloster’s death. Most of the ones I’ve seen have been owned by younger people who are passionate about them so it seems like it would be worth keeping around even if it's just so those same people can buy a Santa Fe when they…
