Well, 99% of the time, it's wrong pedal, but just once in a blue moon it's FLOOR MATS!

Yes indeed. While there was much sarcasm there, I agree with you. Ease of ownership is not the be all end all. At this point in my life, I'm happy to have had a car that has been easy and cheap to own. For my next car, I want to branch out a little more and that might mean taking more pains to keep it running.

Why use a gradient of reliability when you can just have two options of yes or no with no room for debate?

Yes, it might be slightly slower but that doesn't make a difference when when both are in some sultan's dusty supercar basement. Anyone who wants to drive their Ferrari probably isn't buying this.

They're not exactly giving dignity to the people involved here with such sloppy reporting.

Don’t get me wrong, my 8 year old absolute base model economy car is absolutely great at what it does and I enjoy it. It’s just that it is none of the things people think a good car is. I like it though and others do too. My point is that it’s not necessarily the car, it’s what you make of it. People can see it’s a

People attribute their enjoyment of riding with me to the car being a good car, not the work I put into it. I keep it clean, free of trash, and full of important things like water bottles and snacks, but it's like that because it came from the factory a good car, right?

Oh, it’s a V6 too! That’s one seriously fine longroof. It’s probably one of the best handling FWD wagons ever.

That’s a very good point. Most station wagons I know of belong to younger people. I’ve heard some many people be surprised by the amount of usable space inside and express interest in a wagon of their own. Then you also have the people like my friend who saw my sister’s new-to-her wagon and said, “oh, it’s that thing

That’s absolutely epic! I’m sure it would be only a Minor attraction there though.

Almost 10 years ago, some fool who worked here at the time (RIP Ballaban) front-paged one of my Oppo posts, which only encouraged me to write even more posts.”

Out of all of those, I've found the Toyota CH-R to be the best way to get people to reconsider a more traditional hatch. People will just run another German luxury sedan into the ground but buying a CH-R is enough to make them shake off the segment altogether.

I’ve been reading for a long time and this is one of the most self aware reviews I’ve seen on here. Really excellent journalism here.

It’s worth considering that even among that handful of users left, the chances of everyone migrating to such a different platform is low. When the herb killed the Kinja blogs, most users were dispersed to the winds. Even among the groups that rallied like Oppositelock, which is now a self supporting independent forum,

Yeah I was confused too. US taillights have differed in the past due to our larger required area of visible illumination.

The finished product still looks pretty weird though.

Still, it kind of stings when our flavor of inexpensive, accessible transportation looks a decade old

Everyone knows hexagonal wheel arches make the wheels like extra low poly

I missed this but the first generation Chevy Cruze has some. First, there’s a control it doesn’t have that’s infuriating: it has no internal trunk release. The only way to get into the trunk is through a button on the back like a wagon or hatch or SUV. I always get people banging on the back glass for me to open the

The only Yugo I’ve seen in the US was the one internet famous one that Tavarish rallied and then gave to aging wheels. I saw it on the interstate in Atlanta before all that happened and it didn’t radiate vibes of crappiness nearly as strongly as the Wheego LiFe does.
