To me, a bomb isn’t just an unsuccessful film (and the studio was hoping for 500 mill at the box office) but a spectacular failure. A flop. With streaming, DVDs and Toys, it’s not a disaster. Infact, I expect toy sales will make animated spin offs likely.

It’s weird to call a film that’s exceeded it’s production budget a bomb. Underperforming, yes.
