They had me at “new Sex Bob-Omb songs”.

could you?

“I don’t agree with how he went about it, but it’s his religion and we have to respect it just like people apart of the lgbtq community should be respected,” another replied.

Like many other religions, there’s a bunch of things written in these old books that we’re “supposed to do” if we’re true followers that would now be considered violent, illegal, and/or would send us straight to jail. So, how religious is this guy?

Agreed.  Being “religious” isn’t carte blanche to be a raging homophobic dickface ... no matter how many Americans would like it to be.

“WTF is this?” one person referencing Almalki’s comment asked FaZe Clan’s account. “I don’t agree with how he went about it, but it’s his religion and we have to respect it just like people apart of the lgbtq community should be respected,” another replied.

The fuck we do.

That was what really set the Gunn soundtracks apart, I think, from other folks trying to ape it. Like there’s certainly pop radio hits on there and it’s not what would really be called obscure music by any stretch but there’s a very clear in-universe reason for them being what they are and based on the choice and

“But you can’t go too deep or you lose people.”

Yeah, lots of songs I love on here, but its a bummer when you can look at the list of just the artists and immediately know which song of theirs its going to be.

You know, maybe people would be more willing to accept the “Marvel characters can have many different interpretations” argument if Square Enix wasn’t trying SO HARD to make this look and sound like a shitty bootleg version of the movie universe.

I’m compelled to disagree. The strength of the soundtrack in the Gunn movies is the relative ecclectic mix and obscurity of the tracks in question. This is a pretty generic slush of 80s mixes but there is nothing very distinct about it.

Strong disagree. This is so lazy compared to the way the 70s music was curated in the movies.

80s music is so often reduced to the lowest common denominator with the highest cheese factor.

Flock of Seagulls, Wang Chung and Frankie Goes to Hollywood. Even their names are really dumb!

I’m not a reader of the comics but I have to imagine that a well-curated soundtrack is not a feature of those comics, given the medium.

Zero to Hero? In no time flat? Zero to Hero, JUST LIKE THAT

The American Dad “Apocalypse” episode was brilliant. And their Christmas episodes are always fantastic. The fact that they do capsule episodes that play around with genres or where everybody dies is pretty daring, too - somebody ends up in Heaven, then the next episode continues as if nothing happened. The entire

American Dad is and always will be the far, far superior show in every way. Honestly, it has only gotten better since moving to TBS.

too bad that specific Midnight Sons team shown above was just concept art; they never got around to making that specific series

*For a fighting game series, MK has exceptionally fantastic storytellings.

I really hope it’s good! Mortal Kombat in particular always seemed well-suited to being made into a movie. I think it helps that the characters and lore are detailed but simple, so there’s already something to work with but no need to spend forever explaining things.
