Is there any reason to believe that the airbag shouldn’t have gone off in this situation? Not every crash deploys the driver’s airbag, but something like a direct forward collision should have set it off.

All I see in that nose is

Fiat 500 Hellcat

I forget who it was, but someone mentioned that the Durango should have been the SUV to get the Hellcat treatment, instead of the Grand Cherokee. I like that idea better, as it seems to fit with its muscle car philosophy a little better.

I like the idea but the GT4 is supposed to be driven, and driven in anger. If this isn’t for pulling people over on highways, when will it really be driven?

What are the odds it’s an actual hatchback trunk opening and not just the lid?

I don’t know about that. Ever tried driving the 401 through Milton? Do 140 in the left lane and people will pass on the right. I drive Ottawa-Toronto regularly and 130 doesn’t generally stand out.

1st: You joke, Ballaban, but Blackberry owns QNX, which is the operating system power in a pretty sizeable number of car infotainment systems today. It’s great news for our local economy (I live in Ottawa) and should give Ford a nice leg up.

Someday if I have space for it, I want a Unimog just because.

“Your honour, with all due respect, unless we set up a brake test in a parking lot on the current surface, the officer’s opinion is just that: an opinion.”

How might you make that case in the court without getting kicked out?

I don’t know officially, but it would seem that here in Canada this isn’t all that much of a deal. Maybe because officers would have to pull over almost everyone. I’ve passed officers when they’re driving at or below the speed of traffic without issue.

Someday, this will be mine: white with the 6 speed. Time to dream!

So what’s the fastest ‘Ring time for a production car with a manual transmission?

I was at a software convention about 6 years ago where this was promoted heavily (Solidworks, 3D CAD) and I couldn’t unsee the Civic tail lights.

So is the performance increase bigger between this and the vanilla Rav4 or a Trailhawk Renegade and regular Renegade?

You could also get a detailed dealership inspection (think PPI) before you rent so that you have a record of “tires have x tread left” or “clutch has 80% life”, for example. I imagine if you have that baseline you could throw it back reasonably easily.

So how often do you get tetanus shots?

He was also the head of EAA’s Young Eagles program (likely more ceremonial than practical) back sometime around 2010. I remember going to Oshkosh that year and waiting to see him and all of the flash bulbs.
