I find it hilariously ridiculous that such a thing exists as a luxury item and that there’s actually market for it.
Do you think she gets cramps in her arm sleeping like that?
... preferably in 2016 model form.
Doesn’t Laguna Seca have a fairly strict noise limit? Granted it isn’t much of an issue with legit production vehicles but might be tricky when “production” cars want a go.
When hitched to a “typical” load, say a full horse trailer or 5th wheel camper, will that combo be over the weight to require a CDL?
I think you need to buy this puzzle. For science.
You’re definitely right, but I’d just like to add that after you drive stick for a couple of months, you should be able to shift instinctively rather than focusing every bit of your attention moving the lever and pedals.
There’s probably some truth in them running out of things to test but I think the bigger reason is that the majority of “head on” crashes actually happen offset. Say you look up at the last minute and swerve to avoid the telephone pole but end up clipping it, for example.
Apparently “Project K”s only project is to strengthen the drivetrain to prevent it from ‘sploding all over the track when you put that power down. Make it so!
There’s a reason chemical engineering is nicknamed “fem eng”. I’m jealous, my mechanical program had about 3 girls by the time we graduated.
Cannot unsee!
You take that back!

Recently I did a 2 day weekend event, again completely stock, and while I didn’t get any brake fade, the pads probably…
Great article! Someday I will own a vehicle like this: old enough so you don’t really care about it, new enough that it still works (and can tow a trailer).
Been tough to catch the full race lately but I’m going to make sure next year! Let’s hope it isn’t like the original GT40 where they took 2 years to actually complete the entire race.
Best I can do is $50.
Pilots routinely give ATC heads up that they’re carrying a full fuel load with the designation “heavy” but is there one for the opposite? Would be amusing to be on a ferry flight where the pilots get vectored at a ridiculous climb rate and show this off at the airport.
Will we hear more of your driving impressions in R&T?
