Was so cool the first time I went with a scanner. Just sat on the flightline the day before the show and watched everyone arrive.

"Bonanza inbound on runway 18 rock your wings"

If you underinflate the ball with an analog gauge will it bounce?

For 1 week each year (plus a few days on either side as people arrive/depart), Wittman Regional Airport in Oshkosh, WI is pretty crazy. I can't verify that it actually is the busiest control tower, but sitting on the flightline listening to tower communications, I'm sure it's very close.

I see Nissan Murano / Pathfinder in that mug, too.

Wow, now that's a rally car at full chat!

Any word on pricing?

This is all very true, Doug. I'm on my second car and both have had work done under warranty for AC issues: first was a bad compressor, the second was the condenser. The fluid was probably good on both!

I think someone on Oppo selling a CTS-V wagon had the right idea: inflate the price significantly to hopefully weed out all but the serious buyers, then work on a reasonable deal afterwards.

These are great. Maybe you can start a new website: People of Autoshows

So how expensive is it to build a private racetrack behind your house?

Welcome to the 401!

I think Ford is on the money about aluminum. As trims like the King Ranch have shown, truck buyers are willing to shell out big money for more capability and if you apply a car-sized premium to something like a Fusion or Focus, that increase may be enough to make people look elsewhere. I'm sure aluminum will continue

Can you safely air down any standard tire ~20psi? At what point do you need bead lockers?

I'm sure a brainstorm session has already come up with that idea, but there are likely very good reasons why it hasn't been adopted. My guess is that it adds too much weight and you'd need to have a very hot blade to have any sort of effect when there is only split second contact.

Are those wipers as useless as I think they are?

It's likely not a big priority for people in the program, but how good are resale values on these kind of build-to-order low volume vehicles?

Under the hood is a slightly detuned version of the Corvette Z06's LT4 supercharged V8, which means it has 640 horsepower and 630 pound feet of torque. It can hit 200 MPH and gets to 60 in just 3.7 seconds.

Any traction issues? My Golf loves Ottawa winters...
