Woo hoo! I made the cut!

I like this one because it shows how slow the Ferrari is.

In my university Thermodynamics class, we did lots of work with the turbine cycle and one of the labs was to monitor one of the school's example units in the shop. The sound of that engine starting and stopping will always stick with me.

Tom, do you verify that your clients can (or maybe should) buy the cars you search for them? What % of monthly income do you suggest people work with?

I think this thread will be full of generalizations but is there a specific car? I'm sure for every driver that doesn't know their car is RWD there are multiple drivers that love to wring their rides out.

Leased a 2010 Golf out of university in August of 2010. Put 78,000 fun km on it over 3 years but in December 2013 it impersonated a Ferrari and burned itself out. Will never be sure what exactly happened but I replaced with a CPO 2010 Golf in January 2014. Oppo pictures

What would the fording depth on those WRC cars be?

Had you known it was an oil problem from the beginning would you have still bought the car and if you did, would you be closer to even with proper repairs?

Are those prices accurate? I thought the California was more "affordable" and the Aventador was more like $400k to start?

Now are they saying that even if you put down the deposit, your order may be cancelled or are they saying that it will just be delayed as cars are built in order of list price? Option A is theft, Option B is Ferrari customer service.

So what might the testing conditions be that allow GM to say their V8 beats the EcoBoost in fuel economy? We all know turbos use more fuel under load on purpose, so it'd be interesting to see the economy when every truck is fully loaded.

So with the design undecided, what configuration makes sense? I wonder if it's possible to scale up the Chinook twin rotor design?

I feel you about the sound stuff like this makes. I sent the drive unit on our new bowrider into the Canadian Shield a few years ago and the sound of metal on granite is not something I ever want to replay.

If we get the 19s, we'll make a deal! haha

Well that's good news! Saves me from having to sell the 19s and buy 18s instead.

On principle, I would never buy a vehicle with all gauges mounted in the centre of the dash. It's just not natural!

Q to anyone else: the GTI Performance Pack apparently comes with 19" wheels as standard but is there any info about offering 18" as an option for better ride and comfort?

I believe it will be offered after the initial launch (something something 2016)
