I like how the F150 knockoff actually uses the grille style from the Raptor.

Seeing as I'm almost locked into getting a GTI as my next car, this GTD presents a rather appealing alternative.
2nd: Research into manufacturing is always a good thing, and I really hope that some of that weight savings gets into the next normal GTI. It doesn't have to be 440lbs, but any drop will be welcome.
I like it as a facelift. It looks sharper than my 2010 and with GTI changes, it should be a winner. I'll hold off real judgement until the technical specs are released, though. Here's hoping it's lighter and more nimble.
Wanted to ask that question too, along with other comparisons like the Q7 or Jeep Grand Cherokee.
Definitely. I'm definitely going to test drive the ST, WRX, MS3 and Cooper S before making a decision.

Though I'm glad she escaped unharmed, along with the other drives, I'm extremely skeptical that she did everything possible to slow the car. Does the Sorento have an Event Data Recorder?
That's Cold Certified™!
Hell yes, you've chosen correctly. I'd love to see this one in Canada.
All standard base 2.5L Golf. I was surprised at the equipment included in it, though. The 2.5L gives the car some jump, but it will be nice to replace it with something a little smoother and refined.
3rd: Excited to see what VW comes up with. I plan on replacing my 2010 Golf with a new GTI when it becomes available, and better fuel efficiency, updated interior and styling is good news all around.
That's likely a little young for him to get a good grasp of it, but you can at least show him what is possible, like blinking LEDs or something. Maybe start by getting him to know what common electronic parts are?
If you stuck a Porsche flat-six into the back of a Beetle, wouldn't you get... a 911?
Someone needs to tighten that GoPro mount...
Is there a LeMons series in Canada?
The people involved with matching cars to characters in this show have done everything just about perfectly, and it seems like Walt's transition to the 300C was just another point of showing his character transformation.
An M3 without a stick is a real shame. If BMW can bring an M5 to NA with a stick, surely they can do the same for the car that I would think is far more of a driver's machine than the M5.
I hope this is the version that is inevitably tested on Top Gear next year.
