I dunno, I was watching a 720p version in less than hour after it aired.... but out of curiousity, which method did you use? Usenet?

Pretty great episode. Seemed to get back to the basics of what makes TG fantastic... high speed, poooooowwwwwwerrrrrr and leaving at least one of them stranded on the road. Also the trailer for the rest of the episodes looked amazing.

Stupid nibbles... I pressed Cancel instead of submit, and it still posted!

The original video was at a gym in Thornhill, Ontario... so don't worry about it being anywhere near Jalopnik HQ.

Someday I want to own a cheap RWD vehicle to hoon like this in the winter. Would be so much easier if there wasn't so much salt put down on the roads!

That simple concept could help out so many drivers: give as little gas as possible to move forward instead of pushing the pedal to the floor. Drivers here in Ontario don't get it either.

To me the GT-R seems like a fantastic all-weather "supercar". Can you get winter rubber for it?

I want a Subie for precisely this purpose.

Same here!

That's a good point, and I think pricing puts a lot of people off. If you look at the quality, length of ownership (probably don't need another flashlight ever again) and the work-when-you-need-it-to-work aspect, the price becomes a little better, I think. I have two other models, a 6P in my glovebox and an L1 for my

#8 Maybe I'm just a SureFire fan boy, but considering picking up one of these G2 Nitrolon flashlights and sticking it in your glove box. It's lithium powered, so you can ignore it until you need it, and when you do, it puts out a seriously bright beam.

I'm a big fan of the 2005 E46. Finding a 2005 M3 would be amazing!

I'm 6'4" 230lbs, so it might be a tight fit... my DD Golf has a surprising amount of space (my seat isn't fully back) so maybe I'll be in luck!

I now work as an iPhone developer, which I suppose puts me into this situation, too. I drive a bone-stock, bottom line 2010 Golf 2 door with a 5 speed. It's my first car, and I'm happy I got a car with fun driving dynamics. Further down the road, I'm hoping to get a GTI, 135i or STI, so I guess that puts me firmly

Legit question: what is the difference between the Taurus and Fusion?

That first lead up looks mind-bendingly fast! Soft landing though, or at least looks like it.

I'd like to +1 all of your points. #1 was the very first thing I noticed when the video started, and thought the evasive maneuver of moving off the road to the left was far smarter than just locking all 4 wheels.

No Touareg? :(

As mentioned many times, I thoroughly enjoyed watching it, but it still does not match the incredible blend of scenery, camaraderie and car talk that happened in the South America episode, as well as their previous specials (Vietnam, Botswana, etc.)
