I'm not sure I want another car more than I want a Raptor (although the 1M is a very close second) and it's for capabilities like this. Sure, I doubt I'd ever crawl around like this, but at least the option is there!

Wow, every time I warm up for a game I try to hit that shot and I can't always hit the net, nevermind a tiny slot. Good work!

Woo hoo, look at that pavement fly!

This. You'll need some seriously sticky tires if you ever want to put that power down in "all weather conditions".

Including the Atom on this list is a perfect example of how motoring has gone to the "beige" crowd. No, it won't take the entire soccer team to practice, and yes, you'll have to put it away when the temperature goes under 10C, but it is quite possibly the most fun you can have driving something with 4 wheels.

I'd be interested to see this same image that shows casualties per capita. That would probably paint a somewhat different picture.

I was surprised by the dual-input mode too, but someone on the PM article made a good point: what if the system instead chose a single stick and the nose went straight forward? In this situation it would be advantageous, but there are many scenarios where you can't simply take one input or the other on its own.

Man, I love these kind of videos! They are largely responsible for my decision to go to school for mechanical engineering.

Love that whine as the engine pours on the revs and the sequential click!

I think this is a very important lesson for everyone to learn when they buy a car. A dealer needs to work for the sale, and no car should make you ignore common sense or internal alarm bells. Dealer can't work with your offer, which you've calculated as the most you can spend? Walk. There are always other dealerships

Interesting. I learned to drive on a V6 4WD Mazda Tribute and so the Escape/Tributes have a special place in my heart, mostly because I admire their utility and practicality. So many times my family has loaded it full of stuff to go the cottage, or towed the boat and said "this is the perfect car for what we're

Good list, and it's sad that most could become irrelevant with better driver education in North America.

Love that story about the Skyline and the forums. It was made even more hilarious when the thief was photographed in the car with only 2 fingers, a la Capt. Hook.

Another one here chiming in with great story! Reminded me a lot of the Top Gear 24 hour race with the BMW and also participating in Formula SAE.

Thanks for the info.... I was unsure of the number.

So it looks like the NFS franchise is getting a wider range of cars than GT5 (and Forza?). Aren't those two other games more about the driving simulation than Need For Speed?

+1!

Glad the Golf made it above average... 30,000 km on my 2010 with nothing but a single resistor replaced under warranty.

I always look for this when seeing a 6 out on the road. It's the wheels that give it away, I think... aren't there more pipes out back, too?

James May will be thrilled.
