Hopefully there is some video soon of Sabine "testing" the new M5 from this morning on the 'Ring... I'd watch that.

Yes please. I'm a big fan of the new 5 series, and a 5 with M power just makes me want it more. It might be wishful thinking, but I really hope Top Gear gets a hold of one for the upcoming (way too short) season.
Go think me up a cup of coffee and a donut with some of those little sprinkles on top.
Terrifying, but still amazing in its ingenuity. This will only motivate me further to place RC controls on devices that shouldn't be radio controlled.
Same here. It was the first Le Mans race I actually sort of paid attention to, and the Eurosport was quite entertaining, especially the few laps I saw without any commentary at all, just the sounds of the cars.
It's indeed a remarkable crash, and even more remarkable considering the overall driver injuries, as someone previously mentioned. Another instance of engineering making something safer.
You are definitely correct. However as an iPhone app developer, I think there is a small area in which smart phones can increase both driver safety and situational awareness. In fact, last night I released my latest application that allows drivers to stay updated with each other by automatically syncing GPS…
I'd have to agree with this one. My 2010 Golf is lit up all day, with only an amber indicator for my running lights.
Would it have gone any different if it was a Touareg instead of Cayenne? I know the Touareg has that air suspension that gives it extra clearance, but would that be enough?
Don't forget about that volleyball scene...
When it comes to SUVs with real utility and capability, I've always wanted a diesel Touareg, especially now that they've come out with the new one for 2011.
+1 because
YES for the Raptor, many YES-es for the Raptor and GoPRO combo. I hope Ford chooses this for a future commercial.
Checkmate, Chevy.
Sadly my childhood had minimal R/C equipment, but now that I've collected some knowledge and electronics/control at university, I'm going to strap some R/C gear to unusual equipment to make up for lost time.
Beetles in unusual places has been a staple of engineering pranks for years.
Based on some of my research, lots of higher performance cars using turbos require premium fuel due to the higher compression ratios (I'm looking at you, VW 1.8T) so is that the case for many of the smaller, turbo-ed engines that make fuel economy a priority or has the engine management system been tuned for lower…
Very much agree. Took far too long to find the air filter, then remove the stupid cover in my Golf.
